Whitney Cipolla

Whitney Cipolla (she/her/hers) is a dedicated community leader from Tulsa, Oklahoma with a commitment to advancing equity and social justice through policy, advocacy, and nonprofit service. With a BA from the University of Tulsa and a Master’s in Public Administration from OU-Tulsa, Whitney’s career has been marked by diverse roles aimed at making a meaningful impact.

Starting as a 6th grade English language arts teacher, Whitney transitioned into mental health policy and now works as a recruitment manager for Teach For America. Beyond her professional roles, Whitney has previously served as the Board President of the Little Blue House and participated in three Leadership Tulsa programs, Urban Leaders Fellowship, and New Leaders Council. She is currently the 2024 Chair of TYPROS, Board President of Oklahomans for Equality, and Chair of the City of Tulsa’s 2SLGBTQIA+ Committee.

Recognized for her leadership and community contributions, Whitney has been honored as a 40 Under 40 recipient by Oklahoma Magazine, a NextGen Under 30 recipient, and received the League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Tulsa’s prestigious Madam President award.

Whitney enjoys time spent with her family, friends, and her beloved dogs, Maggie and Miles.
