Carly Putnam Bio

Carly graduated from the University of Tulsa in December 2013 with a BA in Sociology and Women’s and Gender Studies. As a student, she was a participant in the National Education for Women (N.E.W.) Leadership Institute and interned with Planned Parenthood Action. She is a graduate of the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits Nonprofit Management Certification Program; the Oklahoma Developmental Disabilities Council’s Partners in Policymaking program; The Mine, a social entrepreneurship fellowship in Tulsa; and is a member of Leadership Tulsa Class 62. She previously served as board president for United Campus Ministry at the University of Tulsa, and currently serves on the boards of The Arc of Oklahoma and Restore Hope Ministries. She enjoys cooking and reading. In her spare time, she serves as Policy Director of Oklahoma Policy Institute, where she herds cats and is bad at Dropbox.
